Where is Missouri?

Here are a few pictures of Missouri so you can visualize where I am moving to. The bottom picture is of Platte County highlighted in red. That is the county that Kansas City and Riverside City are in. That's where we will be moving to. It takes around 16 hours to drive. Landon and I are starting to get our ducks in a row for moving. The U-haul and hotel are reserved, the airplane tickets are booked. This is becoming more and more real and we still have 4 months. We have a townhouse arranged to move to, we just need to get some paperwork in and we are waiting on the current tenant to tell the Manager that she is moving out and we are moving in. Until that gets done and set in stone then I will be more content.
We have been so blessed to have everything work out for us and fall into place. Now lets just pray that everything with this Baby Boy goes well and no complications with baby or delivery.

Also, Missouri has fire-flies!  How neat is that!

Just an Average Day

Moving and having a baby are the only things on my mind. I am getting antsy to just box everything up. It's a little early to box most stuff up, I am trying to get a head start and go through cupboards and box things up I know I wont need for a while. For the most part I am good about not keeping junk and cludder around so it has not been to bad; However, I always manage to come up with a D.I. pile.

Today was nice to wake up vacuum the car out after all winter, clean the house, make dinner and finish up some laundry. Emma stayed entertained by climbing in the cupboards and pulling things out. She insisted on having the cupboard door closed. Silly girl.

Welcome to my new Blog!

Landon has not started medical school yet. However, the adventures have already begun. In August we will be moving from our cute apartment in Ogden to Riverside, MO just out of Kansas City, MO. These four years of living in Missouri with out any family are going to be an adventure and I don't want to forget about them. I plan to print this blog off into a book when we are done. These posts will help me remember all the good and bad times we went through. This blog is for me, so if you are going to judge stop reading now :) If you are not going to judge me then you can read along and enjoy my experiences as well.

Quick update: I am 20 weeks pregnant with a little boy due a week before we move. I still work as an RN at Mckay-Dee hospital and learn lots of neat things everyday I work.
Emma is almost 1.5 years, soon to be in nursery. She loves to color and play with her baby doll. She also is starting to say lots of new words, for example: no, shoe, mom, dad, color, nose, eye, ear, and attempts to say bellybutton. She signs thank you, please, more, and milk.
Landon is staying busy with work. He works as an Athletic Trainer in the mornings at a rehab clinic and then in the afternoons as Bonneville High Schools Athletic Trainer. He is also trying to finish up 2 online classes (required before we move). Being the Young Mans President keeps him busy but he loves the guys in our ward and does great at his calling.
We stay busy but always try to make time for our family and friends. We will miss Utah when we move; however, we are excited to move on, meet new people and start the next chapter in our life.
